high blood pressure

High blood pressure or hypertension means high pressure (tension) in the arteries. The arteries are the vessels that carry blood away from the pumping heart to every tissues and organ of the body. High blood pressure does not mean extreme emotional tension, even though emotional tension and stress can momentarily increase the blood pressure. Normal blood pressure is below 120/80; blood pressure between 120/80 and 139/89 is called “pre-hypertension”, and a blood pressure of 140/90 or above is considered high blood pressure. The systolic blood pressure (the top number) represents the pressure in the arteries when the heart contracts and pumps blood into the arteries. The diastolic pressure (the bottom number) stands for the pressure in the arteries when the heart relaxes after the contraction. The diastolic pressure, therefore, represents the minimum pressure to which the arteries are exposed.

Nearly 1 in 3 American adults has high blood pressure. Once high blood pressure develops, it usually lasts a lifetime. The good news is that it can be treated and controlled. In Blood Pressure Combo we have combined the powerful natural ingredients Hawthorn berry (200 mg), Motherwort (165 mg), Olive leaf (100 mg), Garlic (100 mg) and Passion flower (65 mg). These are combined to protect blood vessels, promote blood flow in the peripheral arteries and reduce cell damage.
